Graduated in Mechanical Engineering, early aroused interest in solutions that automate industrial production processes.

Maintaining the balance between logic and creativity, José Figueira felt moved by the challenge of innovation in his industrial engineering company, marking the beginning of his journey in the world of arts.

He tried acrylic painting, passed on to ceramics, and now launches into the creation of animal sculptures in stainless steel.
 
In the Zoo, habitat of several species that he reproduced, he finds the right place  to create his statues. Here, art gains a new life, made out of metal, with shapes that surprise reality.
